Whenever we worked in a library, cafe, or on the train, we couldn’t shake the feeling that someone might be reading our screens.

A privacy screen helps, but it doesn't cover the angle that matters most: over the shoulder. And it's not always possible to sit with your back to the wall. We'd keep glancing behind us, never able to fully settle in to our work.

So we built EyesOff with an on-device visual-processing pipeline, so live camera frames do not need to be uploaded. It is a privacy aid for working with more awareness in shared spaces, not a guarantee that every onlooker will be detected.
